The Biennial Art Show was back this year showcasing the talent and creativity of students from the Early Learning Centre through to Year 12. The gallery, open from Friday 6 to Monday 9 September, was a spectacular interpretation of this year's concept of Illuminate with a diverse and imaginative collection of artworks.
A highlight of the show was the Kaleidoscopic House of Dreams, an enormous form created by the Senior Art Club which saw infinite reflections bouncing across metallic foil, captivating those who stepped inside with a magical, sensory experience.
Opening night brought students, staff and families together for a celebration of Visual and Wearable Art. The highly anticipated Wearable Art Competition was a standout event, as student models walked the runway in exquisite works of art, with each design a different interpretation of the Illuminate theme in an array of colour, light, and texture.
The winners of this year’s Wearable Art Competition were:
Middle School
- First: Isla Smales and Lily Scherp
- Second: Lily Tozer
