This marked the first year where every Ormiston College Sport Aerobics team qualified for the FISAF Australia National Championships. To earn their place, the teams had to secure a top three finish in their nominated category or receive a wildcard entry from the judges.
Training began in February, with the teams preparing for a competitive season which kicked off in May at the Industrie 1 Challenge and continued at the Queensland State Championship competition in July. Their hard work culminated in the FISAF Australia National Championships which took place on 31 August and 1 September. The event, which saw the athletes perform choreographed routines against schools from across the country, was held at the Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre. Notably, the Year 2 Little Mixers, Years 5 and 6 Pump It Up and Years 5 and 6 Dancing Divas teams placed second overall, and Years 10 to 12 Midnight placed third overall.
