On Thursday 9 May, the Athletics Precinct was filled with excited chatter as young athletes from Prep to Year 2 gathered to participate in their interhouse Cross Country event. The Carnival featured two challenging events: a 400m run and a giant inflatable obstacle course.
Despite the partly cloudy weather, the young students tackled the 400m run with determination and enthusiasm. While some found the long run to be a challenge, everyone crossed the finish line spurred on by parents, teachers and fellow classmates cheering them along the way.
The giant inflatable obstacle course added an element of adventure and excitement to the day and giggles of delight could be heard as students bounced, climbed and crawled their way to the end.
Well done to all participants for giving their best effort and demonstrating resilience and team spirit throughout the event.
