OC Girls Tennis celebrated International Women's Day in style with IWD biscuits in Saturday's TAS Home Round. Hosting West Moreton Anglican College (WestMAC), the girls from both schools put on a great display of competition and collegiality, both on and off the court. Our opposition were invited to join us for refreshments and partake in the opportunity to celebrate this special event together, in what has become an important tradition for OC Girls Tennis.
Special thanks to 2021 Tennis Captain, Grace Huggins, and 2021 College Captain and tennis player, Charlotte Lane, for turning up to support our young women and show them that what they do matters, that what they achieve is important, and that their capacity to pick themselves up, dust themselves off, and try again... matters.
