Ormiston College's Year 6 Committee Leaders and House Captains attended the National Young Leaders Day at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Monday 28 March. The students thoroughly enjoyed the day and eagerly engaged with the incredible line-up of speakers including: Her Excellency The Honourable Dr Jeanette Young PSM (Governor of Queensland), Cate Campbell (Olympian Gold Medalist), Guy Edmonds and Matt Zeremes (Emmy Award-winning writers, directors and actors), and Lachie Smart (youngest pilot to fly solo around the world). As the event concluded, the young leaders returned to the College feeling inspired, motivated, and far more informed about leadership and the qualities it takes to succeed.
